The many facets of Battle Creek's heritage are celebrated including: the birthplace of the cereal industry, the home of former slave an abolitionist sojourner Truth, Seventh-day Adventist visionary, Ellen White, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg who transformed health care in the nineteenth century and cereal industry magnates, C.
