Description

Dating to 1866, the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center has also been known as the Battle Creek Federal Center, the Percy Jones Army Hospital, the Battle Creek Sanitarium, and the Western Health Reform Institute. In 2003, the Federal Center was given its current name in honor of three former U.S. Senators who were patients there during World War II: Philip Hart of Michigan, Robert Dole of Kansas, and Daniel Inouye of Hawaii.
