Thank you to EVERYONE who submitted photos for the 2010 Photo Contest! So many great photos were submitted and it was a difficult decision to find the top photos of each category. All submitted photos will be considered for publication in the 2010 guide. The final photos were chosen by CVB staff and based on the category relevance, photo quality, and potential tourism impact.

Following categories include:

• Attractions - FINAL WINNER - 'Binder Park Zoo'
• Events - 'FireKeepers Casino Grand Opening'
• Landmarks and scenic shots - 'Perfect Path'
• Leisure and Recreation - 'Tubing on Beadle Lake'
• Miscellaneous - 'Calhoun County Park'

If you are an interested photographer, the CVB is always looking for additional photos for marketing and promotional pieces. If you are interested, please email info@battlecreekvisitors.org for more information.

Please note: By entering the contest or submitting photos, individuals warrant that all photos become property of the CVB and may be used for future marketing and promotional materials at the CVB's discretion for purposes of promoting the Convention & Visitors Bureau's mission and awareness of its program. Photos that do not meet guidelines will not be considered for publication. Individuals grant the CVB permission to provide your name when publishing, reproducing or otherwise using your photo and identifying you as an entrant or prize winner. While the CVB will make every effort to credit photographers when using photos, there may be circumstances where it is not possible to do so. The winning photo will be announced Monday, October 5 on www.battlecreekvisitors.org; winners will be notified by e-mail. In the case winners do not respond within a timely manner, a new winner will be chosen within one week of original date. A submitter can only win one category and will not be qualified to win top of every category.
