Battle Creek is a leading destination for regional and national amateur sporting events. The Battle Creek area has played host to some significant amateur sporting events including 6 different Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Final Championship events, 100 days of baseball/softball championship tournaments, two baseball World Series, and dozens of amateur events annually including NCAA, AABC, ASA, MHSAA and USSSA events.
