Battle Creek is a leading destination for regional and national amateur sporting events. The Battle Creek area has played host to some significant amateur sporting events including 6 different Michigan High School Athletic Association Final Championship events, 100 days of baseball/softball championship tournaments, two baseball World Series, and dozens of amateur events annually including NCAA, AABC, ASA, MHSAA and USSSA events.

Event organizers will find the Battle Creek area to have world-class facilities all located within close proximity to the area's hotels, restaurants, and entertainment. In addition to world-class facilities, Sports Promotion provides excellent service to event planners. Relationships have been established city-wide to provide event planners with a trouble free experience, from the planning stages to the final day of the event.

Sports Promotion was formed in 1990 to enhance the economic vitality of Battle Creek/Calhoun County through recruitment, creation, and management of amateur sports/athletic events.
