Valentines’ Day is all about showing the people you care about how much you love them. Before you go out at night with your Valentine, here are some things you can do with the little Valentine’s in your life.

Pick out flowers at Horrocks

Get your kids involved in helping you pick out flowers for their grandmother or someone special. You will be getting your kids involved and getting something for your wife. Horrocks has a great selection of fresh cut flowers. You can put together your own bouquet or you can pick out one that is already put together. Your kids will love being able to pick pretty spring flowers and give to someone they love.

Go to lunch at Clara’s

After you’re done getting flowers, take the kids over to Clara’s on the River for lunch. The old train station is the perfect spot for kids and parents to eat. They have a 16 page menu with kid friendly choices like pizza and cheeseburgers.

On your way home, stop at Continental Pastries & Delicatessen. They have many Valentine’s Day treats that your kids will love! From heart shaped mini cakes and cookies to pink frosted cupcakes, the kids will be in sugar heaven. Pick up some chocolate strawberries for your special someone while you are there.
