Trick-or-Treating Events Around Calhoun County

Halloween is almost here, which means it is time to think about where your kids are going to be trick-or-treating this year. There are lots of events going on in Calhoun County on the 31st and the week before. Read up on the events below and decide which ones you and your kids are going to attend!

Bruin Boo – October 27, 6:30-8pm
Kellogg Community College
Bruin Boo is a FREE family-friendly trick-or-treating event held on KCC’s campus. Students and faculty will be dressed in their Halloween costumes to hand out candy to the community. There will also be games, prizes, activities and refreshments.

Gilmore Car Museum Spooktacular – October 27, 4-7pm
Gilmore Car Museum
Spooktacular allows kids to trick-or-treat on the Car Museum grounds and see cool classic cars along the way. Kids 12 & under are FREE. Adults are $5 per person.

Marshall Firefighters Halloween Costume Parade – October 29, 11am-1pm
Downtown Marshall
March through downtown Marshall and trick-or-treat with your kids in the area businesses. Participants will start on the lawn of Marshall City Hall.

Trick or Treat Downtown Battle CreekOctober 29, 11am-1pm
Downtown Battle Creek
Make your way to downtown Battle Creek this Saturday for trick-or-treating in the creek. Start in Festival Market Square to get your map and your bag. Then, walk to participating downtown businesses to trick-or-treat!

Howl-O-Ween – October 29, 11am-1pm
Humane Society of South Central Michigan
Dress up your pups and head out to the Humane Society for a dog costume contest ($10/dog). After the contest has ended, there will be FREE trick-or-treating for dogs and kids!

Zoo Boo – October 19-30
Binder Park Zoo
Bring your kids out to Binder Park Zoo to trick-or-treat in the zoo! There are lots of games and fun activities for your kids to enjoy when they are tired of collecting candy.

BCPD Trunk-or-Treat – October 31, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Battle Creek Police Department
If you need a place to trick-or-treat the night of halloween, the BCPD is the place to be! This FREE event is a fun and safe way for your kids to get their Halloween candy.

Trick-or-Treat at the Mall – October 31, 4-6pm
Lakeview Square Mall
Head over to the mall for a warm way to trick-or-treat with your kids on Halloween.
