Happy first full week of fall! The air may not make it feel like fall at the moment, but the changing leaves make it look like it. There are many parks and places for you to enjoy the changing colors. Here are some great places for you and your family to enjoy the fall colors. Historic Bridge Park Battle Creek Historic Bridge Park is gorgeous anytime of year! The park is a wooded park with walking trails that connect to the Calhoun County Trailway. Walk over the historic bridges that have been restored and worked into the park. Have a picnic and walk through the park to see the leaves change. Bridge Park is also a great spot to start a kayaking trip. You can launch directly from their designated kayak launch and see the fall colors along the river.
Linear Park Trail Battle Creek The Linear Park Trail runs through downtown Battle Creek. The path includes a park that runs right by Kellogg Headquarters and on my tree covered paths. During the fall season, the pathway is a gorgeous place to walk.
Calhoun County Trailway Battle Creek/Marshall The Calhoun County Trailway connects Battle Creek and Marshall. A great spot is to start and park is at Historic Bridge Park. The trail features multiple gorgeous walkways that are a perfect spot to be during the fall.
Stuart's Landing Marshall Head out to Stuart's Landing in Marshall for a fun fall day. The park is right on the Kalamazoo River and is a great spot to end your kayaking trip when you start at Historic Bridge Park.
Victory Park Albion This gorgeous park in Albion is a great spot to take the kids this fall! The large park features many wooded walkways and grass space. It also features a great playground for your kids to enjoy.
