Retro Recreation: Vintage Boats and Travel Trailers

David Irvine, one of the Directors of the Water Wonderland Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS), member of the Tin Can Tourists, and lifelong boating/auto enthusiast, will lecture on the purchase and ownership of both antique and classic wooden, fiberglass and aluminum boats, as well as vintage campers. The lecture will cover both purchase and ownership, as well as many types of events that you can get involved in, including boat and camper events, shows, in-water boat cruises, and camper rallies that are out there to be discovered and enjoyed by these communities/clubs… David will discuss other ways to get involved, such as visiting museums, and join/get active in various clubs, including ACBS, the Tin Can Tourists, ant other neat national events across the country.

David will provide suggested resources, books, website links and suggested Facebook/Instagram groups to check out, should anyone be interested in getting involved in these areas of the hobby/lifestyle.
