The Battle Creek Bombers, 2011 World Series Champions are a member of the prestigious Northwoods League, the country’s premier summer collegiate baseball league. The Northwoods League offers the highest level of competition and playing facilities to the best college baseball players each summer. The Bombers play a 35-game home schedule at C.O. Lobel (1933-1987) was an American author and illustrator of children’s books, including the “Frog and Toad” series and “Mouse Soup.” Lobel won the 1981 Caldecott Medal recognizing the year’s best-illustrated U.S. picture book.
