Led by Bass virtuoso and Juno nominee Rodney Whitaker, this brilliantly talented ensemble has performed locally, nationally, and internationally with a who’s who of greats in the Jazz world. Yankee-Yorkers Trekking Canal Style. New York (yankee Yorkers) migration is a rich part of Michigan history. Attendees will see the reasons for this migration, what traveling by the Erie Canal was like and what records are available, and the influence New York had on Michigan.

Beginning September 29, 2018 and running through June 8, 2019, The Tibbits Classic Film Series returns with one double feature each month. Featuring, classic sci-fi, musicals, noir, comedies, schlocky B-movie monsters, mystery night, an 80s double feature showcasing director John Carpenter, plus a screening of the 2019 Academy Award Nominees for best short, animated and live action.
