Leila Arboretum is a 72-acre arboretum featuring a picturesque fountain, themed floral gardens, children’s garden, gazebos, a pavillion, sculptures, a peace labyrinth, a disc golf course, and rolling hills perfect for winter sledding. Come for a casual stroll or run the one-or two-mile loop.
Stop by the Fantasy Forest near the entrance of Leila Arboretum. During a week long competition in June 2015, chainsaw artists carved sculptures out of tree stumps. The tree stumps were remnants of trees damaged by the Emerald Ash Borer.
Head over to the Leila Arboretum Children’s Garden. The one-acre garden is an ever-changing environment where children can explore the world of plants. Using all the senses, children will have the opportunity to investigate plants, vegetables, flowers, and much more!
