Description
First known as the Old Stone Barn, it was built in 1857 and operated as a livery stable and station for a stagecoach company. By 1928 it had lost its former glory and was an unsightly gas station, until Mayor Harold C. Brooks led an effort to buy the building and turn it into a town hall in time for Marshall’s centennial in 1930.
