Historic Bridge Park in Battle Creek, MIHistoric Bridge Park – Battle Creek

One of the most unique parks in the state gets its name from the six bridges it holds throughout the park. Each bridge is one that was formerly in use from areas around Michigan and Indiana. Instead of destroying them, they were brought to Historic Bridge Park to be on display. Besides the bridges, Historic Bridge Park is a great spot for picnics, kayaking or canoeing, pictures, and exploring.

Kellogg House Park – Battle CreekThe Linear Trail in Kellogg House Park in Battle Creek, MI

Kellogg House Park is located in downtown Battle Creek and is part of the Linear Path. The park is home to W.K. Kellogg’s, the founder of Kellogg’s and inventor of cereal, former home. The grounds are full of beautiful flowers during the spring and summer months. This time of year, you can find hundreds of tulips getting ready to burst with color.

Victory Park is located in Albion and is home to the Victory Park Band Shell. The park hosts many concerts during the summer months. Until the summer concerts start, you can take your kids and enjoy the Victory Park Jungle Gym.

Marshall Riverwalk – MarshallThe Marshall Riverwalk in Marshall, MI

The Marshall Riverwalk is a great place to get your steps in on a nice spring day. The riverwalk consists of 1.6 miles of elevated and paved walkways, along with 5 pedestrian bridges. This beautiful trail goes along the Kalamazoo River and Rice Creek. It is also part of the North Country Trail.
