Venue 19 Zero 9 is named after more than 100 years of hospitality.
Schuler’s opened a restaurant in 1909 and quickly expanded into the hotel business.
Now, with all of that hospitality experience, Schuler’s is opening an event venue in a historic Marshall building.
“Weddings, corporate events, community functions. Really, we can do anything,” says Elizabth Birch, events director and wedding coordinator.
It has everything you need for a wedding: gathering space, suites for the bride and groom, catering, three hotel rooms and an airy event center.
Planning a community award ceremony? There’s enough space to bring in a stage. Want a cozy bridal shower? The front room is fit for party games or cocktails.

“We offer suggestions throughout the way, just because I’ve done this for many, many years,” Birch says.
Schuler’s Restaurant is the exclusive caterer, but the menu is flexible. Birch says you can tell her what you’re looking for, and they’ll craft a menu around that.
Although, you can’t go wrong with a Schuler’s classic.
“We’re known for our prime rib, so I always recommend that,” Birch says.
