Description
Fort Custer National Cemetery is one of two National Cemeteries in Michigan. The final resting place to over 26,000 veterans and family members. The Avenue of Flags is composed of 152 American flags located along the entrance drive, and an additional 50 flags are arranged in a semi-circle at the head of the thoroughfare, representing each state.
